How do I place an order?
(If you do not wish to place your order online, please see our other ordering options.) To begin, click on any category from the column on the left side of the screen.
Click on any subcategory that is listed.

To view information about a specific item, click on the itemís name.

To Search for an item by title or key word, click "Search" on the left hand column.

To purchase an item, view the item you want, then click the "Order" button. You will see your "Shopping Cart." If you wish to add more items to your Shopping Cart, click "Keep Shopping." If you wish to change the quantity of your item(s), change the number in the "Qty." box, then click "Update." To proceed to checkout, click "Continue."

On the Checkout page, fill out the required fields, then review your shipping and billing information to be sure it is correct. Choose which shipping option you prefer and click "Apply." Your purchase total will be noted on the right hand side. Click "Continue."

To edit any shipping or billing information, click either "Edit" buttons.

To complete your purchase, click "Send Order."


How do I order more than one of an item?
You can change quantities or delete items in your Shopping Cart by changing the number the "Qty." box, while viewing your Shopping Cart. Click "Update" and your new subtotal will be shown (without shipping/handling).


How do I continue shopping after selecting an item?
To continue shopping, you may:
......Click "Keep Shopping"
......Use your browserís "back" button to go back to a category
......Click on any category in the left hand column


How do I see which items are in my Shopping Cart?
If at any time you wish to review what is in your Shopping Cart, you may click on "Shopping Cart" in the left hand column.

When you are ready to check out, click the "Checkout" button in your Shopping Cart.


How do I cancel an order after I already have items in my Shopping Cart?
You may cancel your order at any time during checkout by clicking "Cancel." If you complete the placement of your order, then decide to cancel, please contact us and if it is not too late, we will cancel it before processing.


What personal information is required during checkout?
Please fill in your full name, mailing address, phone number and email address. Be sure the "Billing Address" is the same address that is connected to the credit or debit card that you are using.


How do I have an order shipped to someone else?
If you want your order to be sent to a different address, fill in that name and address in the "Shipping Address" section of the Checkout page. In the "Billing Address" section, choose "Other" and fill in your name and address information (be sure this matches the credit or debit card you are using).


Can you ship outside of the USA?
A dropdown menu on the checkout form lists all of the countries that Deaf Missions can ship to.

Canada: If you are placing an order that will be shipped to Canada, the person who receives the package may have to pay additional tax and/or duty. For more information about these charges, please contact the Canada Border Services Agency.

All Other Countries: We are able to ship to many countries outside the United States of America. However, we reserve the right to decline shipments that are of high value or of heavy weight. Many shipments are lost or stolen in transit, and if we feel the risk is too great, we will contact you immediately to let you know of our decision, and your credit card will not be charged.


Which shipping option do I choose?
Choose the shipping/handling method you prefer (costs vary).
NOTE: Orders are usuallyshipped within 2-3 business days. This does not include weekends or holidays.

Shipping times stated above are estimates, based on mailing service quotes. Deaf Missions is not responsible for delays in-transit, caused by these services. Methods and rates are frequently evaluated to provide affordable shipping/handling options for our customers.


Can you rush my order to me?
If you are in a hurry or if you need your order by a certain date, please contact us by phone: 712-322-5493 (Voice/TTY) or 712-587-8887 (VP). Rush shipping options may be available. (We cannot guarantee rushed shipping times if you only request it in your online order.)
Please know that any rush shipping options will require additional charges.


What is a Gift Message?
If your package is being sent to a different "Shipping Address" than your "Billing Address" and you would like us to include a message, please type a brief message in the field, "Is this order a gift?".


Do you gift wrap?
We do not offer gift wrapping. We will include a "Gift Message" if it is typed into the "Is this order a gift?" field, but the item(s) will not be wrapped.


What kind of credit cards does Deaf Missions accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. During checkout, you may select which type of card you will be using from the "Payment Method" dropdown menu. Please be sure to fill out your "Card or Account Number" and your cardís "Expiration month" and "Expiration year."


Will I receive confirmation of my order?
If you want to receive a confirmation of your order, make sure the "E-mail me a copy of my order" box is checked on the checkout page.


Can I add comments to my order?
If you have any additional comments about your order, you may enter them in the "Comments (optional)" field.


How do I leave special delivery instructions?
We are unable to control how individual mail carriers deliver packages. If you have specific instructions for delivery, please contact your local carrier.


How soon do you ship orders after they are placed?
We do our very best to ship orders within 2-3 business days. You will be notified if your order will require a longer amount of time before shipping. If your order is time-sensitive, please call us by phone: 712-322-5493 (Voice/TTY) or 712-587-8887 (VP).


When will I receive my order?
To calculate an approximate time your order will arrive, add how soon we ship orders from Deaf Missions to the shipping (in transit) time.

We will receive your order and process it as soon as we can. If you checked the "Email me a copy of my order" field, a confirmation email should arrive in your inbox shortly. You will receive another email once your order has been shipped.


How do I purchase a download product?
After clicking the button to purchase your download, you may continue from your Shopping Cart to the Checkout page. Your contact information and credit card information is required. After clicking "Continue," you will be able to review your order. Click "Send Order." On the right side of the order confirmation page, you will see a yellow button that says "Download." Clicking this button will begin downloading your purchase to your computer.

Can I place an order without using a credit card online?
Yes. We also accept checks or money orders made out to Deaf Missions. To download a catalog and/or order form, please click here. You may print the order form, write down the items you wish to purchase, along with your full name, address, phone number and/or email, and send it with payment to:

What is your return policy?
If you receive an item that is broken or damaged, please let us know, and we will replace it right away.
If you are unsatisfied with a product, you may return it within 30 days for a refund. (Please note that shipping costs are not refundable.) If you receive an item by mistake, please let us know and we will help resolve the issue.


Why does it look like I was charged twice?
When you use the Deaf Missions Online Store, our system verifies that funds are available in the account used by your credit card. After your order/donation is prepared, then we charge your credit card. Sometimes these two processes can look like two charges to your account. Please be assured the first process is only a verification and not an actual charge (those funds will be made available again as soon as the process is completed). Your credit card is only charged once, after we have prepared your order/donation. If you have any concerns regarding the charge to your credit card, please let us know and we will be happy to help.
